Employee of the Month

Christy Frost has been chosen as Anne Moroney Youth Services’ June 2007 Employee of the Month.
Christy came to the agency in July 2005 to develop Operation Save Kids – Okmulgee County, a truancy prevention program. Christy has been very instrumental in developing this program in conjunction with the Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office, the District Attorney’s Office as well as all Okmulgee County Schools.
Christy graduated from Northeastern State University in December 2005 with a Bachelor’s of Social Work Degree. Christy has not only implemented the truancy program but she has also been the organizer of several Mock Drunk Driving assemblies at area high schools. Christy is currently presenting the Daniel Memorial Independent Living Skills curriculum at the Okmulgee Summer Multi-Cultural Program. Christy will be expanding her Independent Living Skills program into several area high schools during the upcoming school year.
Christy has a desire to help young people realize their potential and is willing to encourage them to set and accomplish their goals.
